Hope everyone is healthy!

I have a DX9 that took a crap. Lucky for me I backed up all my models, some are very complicated and would be a total pita to manually re set up in a new radio. I have a JR11x and was wondering if there is a way to transfer these models from the dx9 to the 11x. I inserted the SD card from the dx9 into the 11x and the 11x doesn't see any files on the card. So I'm guessing that I'm screwed unless I just buy another dx9.

Any DX 9, 18, or 20 will take those files or ix for that matter but not JR

nada, as they are mapped differently. depending on how complicated the programs were I might be able to help as I had an 11X and currently fly Spektrum.

Okay now I'm curious; I thought the original 11X's were DSMX and changed to DMSS later on when they released that firmware update?

My 11 was originally a dsm2 and converted to dsmx at joe nall one year a while back. Still fly with it, it has never let me down.

No. The 11s were DSM2, and then DSMX. DMSS is a different protocol that JR went with when they split from HH. They named it the XG11.

People say that you can update the 11X programming menus to the XG11 stuff. Well, I own both the 11x and XG11. My 11X has been updated once, still on DSM2, and it has all the same progamming features that my XG11 has, except for XBus......
