For everybody who thinks ZB is the owner of Esprit Models, he is not. I love how he acts like he is so important but he is not. I cannot understand why the owners have not done something about how he is behaving as a representative of their company. This is exactly why I would never recommend anybody to fly Jeti or buy from Esprit Models. They have continued to lie and try to cover up the problems they truly know about over the last two years. They do not care about the hobbyist all they care about is their bottom dollar.

What's more interesting is not one single pilot I admire uses this eqipment. Maybe some high end guys actually do use it but certainly none on my list I follow. They use equipment this dude trash talks about being junk. I learned if you have to trash a competitor to make yourself look better, you are obviuosly trash too. If you're really that great, point out how fantastic your competitor is, then prove you're better! THAT'S true marketing.

I am so happy to say that I was able to sell all of my jeti. I am now flying a Futaba 18MZ and it is so nice knowing that I am flying a system that I don’t have to be scared it’s going to shut down if it gets too warm or I over amp it. You can have all the fancy data you want but when the data is not there because it glitched it’s no good anyways and the jeti will glitch. For all of you already flying jeti you need to be warned that flying in temperatures above 90° will put you at a very high risk of the system shutting down. And if you’re also running high amp servos you’re running an extremely high risk of the system shutting down as well. So if you’re only flying in cool weather with a low AMP servos you should be OK, but for me it was not worth the risk anymore...bye-bye jeti. And yes, I was very upfront to the person I sold everything to. I told him all the inns and outs to watch for.
I did not purchase my Futaba from Esprit models. I don’t understand why you even have it on your website when all you do is bash their product.

Why are so many Jeti products for sale lately? Everyone knows that Jeti is such a small part of the hobby but there seems to be a big increase in the ratio of Jeti items for sale that is just way outside of their proportion of the market. Just checked the classifieds listings for electronics and there are 4 Jeti listings just on the first page. Is this a sign of the end of Jeti? Or is this just the normal ratio of Jeti owners selling out to cut their losses while they can?

Someone please explain this Jeti dumping in the classifieds.

On the FCC docs his name is presented as the president of esprit model....
Are you sure he is just a random rabid employee ?
If so I don't understand why his boss doesn't kick him out considering the huge number of lost sales.

Sorry dhal22 but not even "new" 32MZ (14+2+2 channel) is capable of doing anything like entry level Jeti, but there is always hope.

I won't wade into the politics, but I will just say I switched to Jeti from JR when I needed to upgrade from 11 channels and wanted to try something different. I have to say my DS-16 has been a solid radio for me. I use barely a 1/4 of it's abilities. I just like ease of programming a basic model and flexibility. I've got nothing against JR/Futaba in anyway.

I see nothing earth shattering in the video regarding things that Jeti can do that Futaba can’t other than how you assign switches. It’s nice that Jeti has all of these cool features that a very small percentage of U.S hobbyists purchase. I will say that I found it painful to watch all the scrolling through the menus.. It is wildly inefficient.

Hey Joe, glad to see you back to real radios.....

The only downside to that WC, is that they collect finger prints faster than you can wipe them off.....

+1
All those features and a radio link that does not work, with a CB200 with Polyfuses that stop current going to the servos during flight. I'd rather smoke a servo, then replace it AFTER landing safely.
And when you work in a place full of Mazak "tombstone" CNC machines, it is hard to be impressed with a toy airplane radio case that feels like it was made from former Soviet era MiG 21 parts.
