Cincinnati "burnit" Challenge
If I listen real close, I can hear chickens arriving about August 16th! Who wants some!?
Will B. Directions to the Cincinnati Aeromodelers flying filed at 8470 Lawrenceburg Road, West Harrison Indiana 45030 From the North or East: Take I-74 West past the Miamitown (Hamilton Cleves Exit) and take I-275 West/South towards Kentucky. Follow to the first exit, Kilby Road. Exit the highway and turn right onto Kilby road, stay in the right lane. Follow to the first road past the highway, Suspension Bridge road and turn Right. Follow till dead end (about a mile) and turn Right onto Lawrenceburg Road. Follow to field on the right approx 4 miles down. There will be Model airplane show signs at the entrance. Note, the field is back a long gravel driveway and NOT easily visible from the street. Campers swing wide before entering from this direction. From the South: Take I-275 North or East headed to Ohio. Take the first Ohio Exit which is Kilby road. All other directions are exactly the same as above. From the West: Take I-74 East to the last Indiana Exit which is the Brookville or SR 52 Exit by the big Shelton Fireworks stand. Exit and turn Left onto 52. Follow straight through the back side of Harrison till you cross over onto State street, keep going straight, NO TURNS till you cross rail road tracks and a river. Immediately on the other side of the bridge you will find Lawrenceburg Road on the Left. Take the Left onto Lawrenceburg Road and follow approximately 1 mile to the field on the left. Hotels are at I-74 and New Haven Road. If coming from the North or East, just don’t exit onto I-275 and you will find New Haven 2 more exits down. From the South, follow I-275 to I-74 West and follow 2 more exits. From the West, Follow I-74 past the Brookville exit, and New Haven is the next exit (first in Ohio). From the Hotels to the flying field: Turn Left Onto New Haven Road and follow to Harrison Avenue (SR 52) and turn Right (at the Shell Gas station) Follow to the 3rd light which will be State and 52 and turn left. Note, West Side Liquors is on the opposite corner. Follow till you cross rail road tracks and a river and turn left onto Lawrenceburg road. Follow approx 1 mile to field on the Left. Regardless of how many pilots show up, there will be a push to get as much flying in as possible. Remember last year we had 35 pilots and there were three rounds of knowns, freestyle and 2 demos and we were all eating by 6:30 on Saturday. ![]() Marian |

Chickens in Cinci on the 16th? Sounds interesting. Forrest and I will have to come down to check out the chicken roasting. I'm thinking Stephen will make it as well.

I don't think I can make it guys. I have to be in Houston on the 15th and will not be back home until late that night. No time to get there. I'm sure you guys will be fine without me there
