Like to know what rpm a da 100l with a mej 28-10 and cans does. I did notice a better midrange and torque...(a lot quicker throttle)with the 110.. my da 100l with standard mufflers ..vess 27b 6700rpm. I will be trying a mej 29-10s if the weather allows.

Pontiac, I am not sure I think it's 1200 feet(Toronto Canada). You could be right with it being TUNE cans.

Here is a video with mintor canisters. It was real nose heavy. I didn't want to mess with cg cause the 110 is not staying in this yak. Video quality is not that great

Got a chance to fly the 110 today. Very easy motor to start, first time start took 5 flips with the choke on, then the third flip it started. I let it run for 1 min at 1/4 throttle then adjusted the idle trim at about 1800 rpm's went between 1/4 and 1/2 throttle for 30 more seconds more, then shut it down to cool.
Second start first flight ( 2 flips with choke then started on the 2nd flip.) Using a Xoar 28/10 eagle nose prop, tacked high end (still cool) 6000 rpm's flew for 10 min at 1/2 throttle with a couple of full throttle blips on the up-lines then landed. I found the motor to be warm at best. I let it cool for 1/2 hour.
Third start 2nd flight ( tacked the high end (cool) @ 6400 rpms.) Took off and did a couple of high throttle up-lines and flew the rest of the tank out at 1/2 throttle.
Fourth start ( high end rpm's (cool) 6550 rpm's) 30 sec into the flight my covering ripped off the bottom of the airplane so I do not have anymore info to give. landed safely.
I did manage to fly Knife edge (both sides) inverted for a few passes , and found NO sagging and NO throttle change.
This is a very easy to start, smooth running motor Although I only managed to get (2) 1000cc tanks through the motor I'm Very happy with the performance so far. ( very strong motor) The up-line speed even with short bursts were amazing. It's a keeper for sure! I feel it will only get better from here. All the above were done at factory needle settings. Using 32:1 air cooled 2 stroke Pennzoil with MINTOR cans ( very quite) on my AERO-WORKS 35% EXTRA 260 @ 700ft above sea level. Throttle response was fast through out the range.

The 28 diam prop seemed underproped!....
29 or 30 after broken in

I'm having unacceptable throttle response with Mejlik 29x10. Maybe after 20 more liters it'll be better, but meanwhile 28x10 is the best choice.

We tried our brake-in 27x10 prop and the engine was ripping it.

Is that a 29x10S....

Yap, 29x10S, 28x10 was great. But unfortunately lasted about 25 seconds.. 6750 on 28x10 is good enough. For 3D you can't find better prop. Also 29x10s makes engine overheat in long verticals (no, engine is not too lean- H 2 turns out, on mej 28x10 it's 1,5 turns out)
My engine has something like 18 liters on it, and it doesn't like 29" prop, neither do I.
