I hear ya. I don't use chief simply because they charge me sales tax based upon Florida therefore no discount. $83 tax on that engine for me.

I used the Black Friday sale coupon last night and pulled the trigger on a white 106...Good to see they are moving around the country now.

Today will be home work day...looking at servo specs and buying all the small stuff..

Got a few more flights (first since I repaired my Canopy and changed my elevator servos) and I it just keeps on getting better and better!, Did a quick run through of the 2015 IMAC Advanced schedule and with the DA120 I'm only using half throttle for all of the climbs (Including all the vertical snaps), Looking forward to strapping a 3 blade on there as the 27x12TH is a bit loud for IMAC (great for Freestyle/3D), Going to get some footage on Sunday to keep you all going till you get yours!.

DA120 w/ compact version of Jtech
Falcon 29x9 Wide
12x Powersafe is on the way now
Savox SB-2231SG 0.1/555 @7.4v (x1 for rudder)
Savox SB-2270SG 0.12/444 @7.4 (x 2 Elev, x 4 Aileron)

I have used the Ultra IBEC from Tech Aero in the past on 92" Edge..may do the same

I have the Powersafe 9x Rx for the 92" and use 2500 x 2 lipos...only drop below 4 v/ cell after three flights..

Do you think with the extra 2 Aileron servos you need 5200 x 2? You should be able to fly all weekend...correct?

I thought of using just 1 MKS 777 (520 oz) on the rudder but Andrew (3dhs team pilot) told me that he tried only 1 but went to 2 and performance was much better.

My setup will be DA120 with Jtec muffs, Falcon 29x9 regular, Fortitude tank, MKS 777 all around, SWB arms, Spectrum 12 channel powersafe, Tech Aero IBEC, Whiterose tailwheel, and 2 Fromeco 5200 packs.
Thinking of doing a little custom touch on the scheme to make it look a little different too.
Plane will be here Tues so looking forward to getting started.

The plane also has a smoke system so I think with the pegged control surface type of flying I do it should be good for 8 12-13 minute flights. The 5200 packs don't weigh much either.I went with a Smartfly optical kill switch & separate battery for the ignition.Cant bring myself to run the ignition off the rx packs.

FYI - On my 92" I initially used one layer of red vinyl over the silver and it showed through...After several weeks I got new vinyl with a white backing that made a huge difference. You can see before and after in the picture.

Not sure if you have the white scheme or not...with the 106
