Hi guys,
Well we've had a wee bit of rain up here Fri night & Sat morning with SH1 being closed due to flooding just south of Springhill entrance. I'd hoped to get some practice in so thought I'd better check out the state of the strip after seeing one of the houses surrounded by water on 3News last night. Instead I will be mopping silt out of the clubroom as there was over a foot of water went through. See photos below & let's hope we don't have more flooding before next months comp here.

Don't plan too.
Just spent most of the day cleaning and throwing out couches out it wasn't fun. there were two full size planes in the hangers one had a lucky escape but the other out had a little bath.
maybe I should bring a boat !!
Yer snoopy I thorught that today when I seen some more photos . The whole air strip was covered plus half the farm.

Yep I have a big pair of floats that fit my raven..... Tested them at Awatoto.. They work great!

wonder if there is time between flights so we can share

Just get some of Bogans old TOC 260 spats and invert them...
