Yes rudder is removable ,it would be 9 ft 8" with the rudder on. The plane is for IMAC as I have a Hanger 9 Beast for 3D and general flying about.

Replaced my " lucky " hat with a new one today ! Anyone interested in a new hat for the season give Mike a call at Annie's Embroidery 623- 362-1457 . Mike is a giant scale flier and IMAC member from Arizona and Annie is just plain awesome. 15.00 plus shipping, you can also have your name, IMAC number or airframe type on the back of it thanks again Mike.

Well the day has come to fly it and kept every thing on 6v just to test. the sky was not the best as are the photos but you will get the Idea.Engine started few last minute checks, powered up and off it went with just a few clicks of up,to give nice and level flight. few circuits to settle my nerves pull up 45 roll and she seems a bit nose heavy. Rolls and snaps nice and clean and seems to presents very well. The DLE 170 with 29 x 12 n 3 blade mejlick prop seems to have more than enough power. Landing was no problem.
I think it is the first one in England to fly.Not bad for my first big model build, built with basic tools and help from tony and lots from my Dad (forgot with all the excitement Tony to give you a fly.Ask next time) and all you on flying giants .A good kit that fly's well and look really good
Thanks again AL I will recommend you. (wonder what to build next?)
