I’ve used them for about a dozen flights on an a10 edf and so far so good. Edfs are tough on batts, but we will see what happens.

Rudder servo location for CG with DA70 up front.

I have serched this thread and could not find any mention for a suggested location for the rudder servo with a DA70 engine. I am trying to figure out ahead of time if I should go with a pull-pull or push-pull configuration.

Thanks,
Mark

Post 272 shows the servo in the tail in one of the pictures. I'm also 99% positive SupaTim said his was in the tail. Mines in the tail, but I'm not finished with it yet.

Awesome Papatrey and madinpensacola!!! Thanks a bunch. I can't believe I missed that post. Must have been my IPhone. This is Exactly what I was hoping for.

On a side note, the only thing I could find, except for the obvious you guys pointed out, was Tim of NorthwestRC posted a video that looked like he had a pull pull setup and I either assumed or read that he had a DA70 in it. That was not what I was hoping for.

Thanks again guys,

Mark

Papatrey,
Yep Post no. 43 was where Tim said he used a Push Pull arrangement. I just though I saw the video of his flight and I could have sworn I saw two horns on the rudder. I couldn't see the cables though but I guess I assumed it was Pull Pull. So you are not 99% correct but 100% correct.

Mark

Cody Wojcik and I wrote this a few years ago, perhaps this will be useful for you.
