The receiver can live just about anywhere, there's plenty of room. The ESC uses an XT60 connector.

Where did you order from? I’m not seeing this available from the USA Warehouse. And minimum shipping from Hong Kong is over 300.00.

Share link to ordering please.

Thanks

I don't get out like I used to. Still flying at the Patch and have been up to the new NGMA a couple times as well.... I love the big stuff, but making time to get out to fields has been a challenge. I am going to trade in a few scale planes to get the EF version in the air and I am sure this smaller counterpart will be pretty hot as well (from what I can tell so far).

I was pretty anti-foam for the last few years, but am coming back. I am infatuated with all the Twisted planes I have flown, and there are some really KILLER flying foam/balsa hybrids, like the old 3dhs Extra330 LT v2. These opened me back up to foam and I am loving it!

I have been itching to get back into F3A aircraft to keep sharp in the backyard, but I get no pucker factor like when flying a big one- I crave that pucker.

I live for events, but that is all changing with a baby coming and I am pretty damn excited to hang out with the little dude. I am going to get a tx in his hand ASAP!

Chili fly at the Patch is this weekend, you should come! I am trying to be hopeful about going, but I am in some rough shape and prepping for another surgery... I just don't think I can handle it.
Baby is due SEFF, I am looking to eWeek and HHAEFI as my next big events.
NGMA has a their first BIG throwdown March 22-24. Get to this one Chris!!!!!!!!

Well I just ordered one, trying to figure out what battery to get Think im going to go with the turnigy 3000mah. I have one now i fly in my 48" Edge 540 and its always done great. im sure this plane is heavier. its bigger and foam but should be fine.. Normally would go with Glacier but for price i can almost get 2 turnigys for price of one Glacier.

I just noticed in the picture Jason put his RX in the bay with the Battery, another guys video said to put it in the hatch on bottom where the Rudder servo is, I guess it doesn't matter a tiny rx isn't going to change the CG enough to make a big deal.

I can't wait to get mine, But there calling for colder temps again next week so sure i end up having to wait for it to warm up to test fly it. Ha ha.. maybe last thing i got in winter i sat in my car in between flights with heat on cause it was so cold out lol

I was tail heavy with a 3300. Ended up going with some nose weight and a 4200 so that 3000 may be too light even when all the way forward. My flight video was done with the 3300 in the tail heavy state too by the way, so it is manageable.

Which was my cue to get 4S 5000 mah batteries - 480 gm
Have an issue with lead - much rather battery and flight time

That's going to be heavy isn't it. they suggest a 2700-4000 but i do agree i would rather get more flight then then just add dead weight.. I normally like my planes just a little tail heavy. better then nose heavy

The Glacier 4000 weighs 445 gms - the Gens Ace weighs 480 gms - hopefully I'll need no nose weight

I'm into no twitchy pitch - so usually 45 upline inverted no fall off and inverted horizontal a touch of down.
