Friends don't let friends drone drunk...

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but no other category was a good fit either. I realize drones are a polarizing topic in the RC community right now. I don't own one myself. Despite what your personal feelings may be, the attached link shows a pretty impressive display of what can be accomplished with the technology.

Drone display sets world record for most UAVs airborne simultaneously (2 min 40 sec)

Very cool display.

Wonder if Darpa had a hand in the funding
You know there is a military application at the end of this road

Impressive....

I'll give this creative marks. I'll even say I'm pretty impressed with the technology.
Only question I have? Was the orchestra and pilots registered? LOL!

Not that impressive. The first year drones showed up at Joe Nall the owners thought they could fly anywhere they wanted. Someone flew one 6ft over my head going down the service road. There were several midair crashes with planes that week. The drone boys have an area to fly now at the Nall. If you bring one go there and fly. Follow the rules just like everyone is expected to.
