I hope the 120 fits in the cowl nicely.. if it doesn't, then we'll have to do some cutting!!!
Yeah, I'm gonna mount my engine tomorrow. Sure hope the cowl fits with no issues! The rudder control horn has got me upset though.

Might be more than enough throw.. and not have to cut anything off..

I don't think it will be an issue anyways.. can run a wider arm on servoe..

It's ok now, and it's got plenty of throw, ( I like as much throw as possible to chuck this baby around), just never had to do that before. I'm over it now, everything else seems to be ok, still haven't put my engine on to see if I got room in my cowl for this DA 120CC .

A friend of mine out at my flying field, ordered a plane wrapper package from B&E Graphics and didn't have MKS servos on his plane so he gave them to me today while we were out flying. They were the perfect color and size, looking snazzy!!!

Ok, back to the grind. I'm gonna mount my engine with a Blazing star aluminum stand off I got from Extreme Flight rc. It comes with 2 delron spacers. You can order more if you need them. But first I need to measure from the face of the engine box to about an 1/8 of an inch past the front of the cowl and that will tell me exactly how much standoff im gonna need...i had this standoff already so i hope it works. Oh, the laser marked holes r a perfect match for the DA bolt pattern.....Yess!

P.S. I had no idea DLE was making a 120CC engine. How new is that? I was gonna make a joke about it, but went online first just so I wouldn't look like a fool. Sure enough they have 1 now. I guess I need to get my head outta the sand more often

Got the engine and cowl mounted. Had some round small washer standoffs that come in different thicknesses to push it out where I needed it. Its not hitting the spark plug caps but u couldn't get a playing card between it and the cowl on the right side as ur facing the plane...I'm happy.

P.S. The clamps & wood was so I wouldn't blow out the backside as I drilled through!

Waiting on my MKS low profile servos to get here tomorrow. Don't want to start on the Cabines until I have all the wing servos in and I can go straight to mounting them. Getting close though!

Got my pull / pull sled and cables hooked up, rudder is perfect. Didn't use the wire that came with the arf, used Surflon 1x7 nylon coated, braided stainless steel fishing leader wire 135 pound test. They had it in several colors, I chose black. Dry fitted bottom wings in preparation for my servos tomorrow. They r nice & tight!

Mailman just pulled in, hopefully with my wing servos. I cut the hole for my throttle servo and glued down the mounting bracket they give you. I,m using a Bluebird BMS- 2109 for the throttle servo. Never used Bluebird servos before. These seem too center good & r pretty fast at 0.063sec/60 degrees with 327.8oz-in of tourqe at 7.4v. I think I paid 40.00 for these, half the price of a MKS 1250
