OCMA is just barely outside the area defined in the TFR by less than 1 NM. Based on that the BoD made the decision to close the field rather than split hairs.

The kit comes with all the Quick Build hardware the larger AW planes do but has carbon wing and stab tubes to boot! I almost bought this one as it's very portable in the average sized car. Removable tail feathers but you'd likely not have to.

To finish you'd need servos, spinners, prop, batteries, switches and and optical kill, that's about it.

The DLE's are turning out to be awesome engines and the latest generation of them were made with pressure molding, finished porting and a little better fit and finish. My DLE fired right up and idled perfect. Quick and clean throttle response.
I agree the DLE's are coming on strong and for a fractionof cost compared to the big boys. are you looking for another compact plane or are you truly looking to go Giant ? that is a killer combo too bad its not a warbird ,Hmmmm?

That is a good plane. or Get a Nitro Plane with Y.S or OS engine in it. Try Nitro Planes or Great Planes, you dont want to start with big plane, Get a something that is good for first time and learn on it.

Reza, we are flying this weekend!!! I just may knock out two gallons of lawn boy before then

Cant wait to see the Hirobo!!

Jim, the plane is done. All that's left is swap out the tail tubes for carbon, mount the batteries and fly her. All the ground support equipment is ready to go. She would've flown tomorrow had it not been for the TFR.

Is 50 degrees of throw on the tail feathers enough?

I flew planes for six years (electric then Nitro for the last year) then I got bored so I got into helis ,It gets boring when none of my friends want to fly at OCMA anymore because of One guy that decided he wounldn't fly there and the rest followed him.except for frank he has flowen with me at ocma the past couple weeks. Its just me and him NOBODY ELSE EVER SHOWS UP!!!! Thats the absoulutly gayest reason not to fly at OCMA anymore.I'm going to continue to fly my ALIGN 700 and 450 , but its time to get a Plane(somthing with less problems) = more fun

. So I think I am going to get a gass plane But I going to get 25% or bigger .H9 Carden YAK54 89'' is what I am most likly going to get
