They apparently also shortened the 2019 season.
The Oct 19-20 Indianapolis race is no longer on the schedule.

At the height they fly at they are probably interfering with the drones and instead of making the correction decided to call it. LOL!!!

It was an exciting era.
I loved the planes that came out of this class too...

...What is next?
Outside of the Reno Races, are there any other racing leagues?

This is not all that surprising. Attendance wasn't good in the US and there is no TV contract for the US this year. The amount of money and infrastructure to put these on was enormous.

If I'm being honest, the RBAR were BORING. It just wasn't exciting for the spectators at all.

I never had the opportunity to be a live spectator, but I did enjoy the TV and social media coverage, and getting a little insight into their tuning, prep, etc., in addition to the racing.

Not for me. I went to Texas Motor Speedway races and had a great time. My wife sat on the edge of her seat the whole time. Iíll sure miss it.

I went to a number of races. I enjoyed the racing so much better than on TV. On TV you got the ghost plane that was nice but in person if you were more than a casual fan it was awesome to see the different lines the pilots were taking and watching the different strategies. With that said, there was way too much down time at the races.

I loved RBAR, having only seen it on screens. And this is the 2nd time they canned it. Maybe it'll be back for redux #2:-)!

There was a period there where it got boring with Paul Bonhomme always winning and the top contenders always static, but the last couple of seasons where they standardized engines, etc., it made it more interesting from a skill-based point of view.

IMO the miracle is that these guys pulled it off at all. I don't think energy drinks are good for people in general as many use them immoderately, but I love Red Bull and their commitment to aviation.

I have to agree with this, energy drinks were all the rage for a while and now people cringe when you see someone drinking one. I do like RB but I havenít had one or any other energy drink in years. I do love all the sports, athletes, and aviation that RB sponsors, I wish they had another product other than energy drinks.

A cursory google search shows energy drink sales a slow growth in the US over the past 5 years and worldwide growth expected through 2026.

Weird because used to be you go into a gas station and there were racks and racks full of energy drinks, now you go in and itís one rack at the bottom. I know a lot more people personally that used to drink them that no longer do myself included. The outlook is good for RB then!
