I would say if DLE planned "beta testers" it would have been a last year release.. While other asia lines were releasing 120ish/60ish engines in a hurry to grab DLE's market-share I say DLE was standing back and trying to get the product right the first time..
I could be wrong but just my assumption. |

Merry X-mas and Happy New Year guys, it seems we are going to buy for us a nice new year gift or maybe a Christmans gift. The crankcase of the DLE 61 and 120 applied Mg-Al alloy casting process, compared with the Al-Si alloy, it has better strength and toughness, stronger resistance to impact force and lighter weight!

Wonder how hard it will be to get parts for all the 111's out there in two years?

But the dumb question....if they made a whole new piston, etc, etc why didn't they just do a 65 or 70 to have a 130 or 140 twin to fit in a 120 sized plane. 140 would be some ground shaking junk.....120 now has to prove itself in an existing market. Either way, I'm sure I'll try one as soon as bowman rings are available..... |
