Building Slick 580 105.5 - Receiver and Servos!!!
Hello,
I need some help with this: I´m building a Slick 580 105.5" from EF, and using 8 MKS HBL 380 servos, my doubt is if can use only one Futaba 7014Sb 14ch receiver for it all, with just a Fromeco Dougle Switch for 2 baterries 7,4 2s lipo?? Does the receiver will handle it all? |

1 7014 Rx
7-9177 Fromco 7.4 2 Years Not an issue! |

For safety you should consider a Powerbox, or something similar. I used two receivers and a Redundancy bus on my 95" Extra. See schematic below..

Your limiting factor will be the servo plugs. They are rated at 3A continous, with a 5A surge. The 14 ch Futaba Rx is more than up to the job.
I would do a Wolverine switch with more than 2 Rx plugs. Most if not, all Rx busses are capable of 35A continous power draw, and nearly 50A in a surge. If you said Spektrum, I would suggest the PowerSafe Rx. Simple and bulletproof. |

For a nice expensive airplane like that, I would use a Futaba DLPH-1, this gives you the option to use one or two receivers for redundancy, also can use a Smart Fly Competition 12 with the 7014 single receiver. I would stay away from those double switch set up.
