Well, if you're considering it ruined already, Brasso might help get it out. It works wonders on foggy headlights.

Picked up an Ultimate last year. Hope to finally get mine ready to fly this season. I have a DA-150 on the way and a Jeti CB200. Might have to do a re-cover after this season though.

It's been awhile since anyone has posted on this thread. Does anyone know which color of Ultracote was used for the yellow on this bird? Can't tell if it's bright yellow or cub yellow.

Did a fuselage / tail recover this past winter and mine is now back up flying! Won't be without one if I can help it.

I never had one of these but a bunch of guys I flew with did. They stockpiled a few when they were being discontinued. They are basically not in the hobby anymore so they may have sold off any that were unbuilt.

It may be time to make a V2 Horizon. Are you listening???

Actually, Horizon did bring the 46% Ultimate back a second time, at a much higher price (I believe it was in the $1950 range)....folks were upset about the increase in price, some were bought but not enough to keep producing.


Now, with the increasing costs for production overseas, it's likely that the price point would be even more against sales of the Ultimate

I have one I will sell ya! Since I have gotten my pilots license and now flying a Vans RV6 the R/C flying has taken a back burner.

Can it be shipped to Ohio at a reasonable rate?.........or can you put in the RV6 and fly it out for delivery? We have a tail dragger Airshow over labor day out here and pilots fly in from all over and hang out for it. PM me

Well I guess it’s time to bring this old thread back to life.
Assembling the wings at the field can be a pain in the rear.
I have another Bipe that is pretty easy to put together ( Flex Mamba).
I didn’t see anyone doing any mods to make the wings more user friendly. So I thought I would ask I anyone has done a mod, or seen someone done that mod?
