At this moment, my power output is 3.7kW (estimated with a 22.5x8 @ 6800RPM), or 150W/lbs. That should be plenty of power. I think

It is possible that the Pitot tube is not properly calibrated. Next flight I will add a GPS receiver. Not a 1:1 comparison (IAS vs. Ground Speed) but should be relatively close if the wind is not too strong. I would think that with a IAS of 10 kts the thing would have fallen off the sky.

I have been sitting on this ARF NIB since I bought it at a crazy-low price from Tower several years ago. (RIP...to the real Tower). I have a Kolm EZ50, which would seem to be a very good match. Has anyone used this engine in this airframe?

The guy I bought the airframe from was flying it with a Valach 60, and he told me that it flew "very scale". From his comments, I think he wished he had more power. Consider though that he was flying it at 5,000'.

Hi! Does anyone know what the height of this plane is when its sitting on its feet? I'm referring to the height from the wheels to the top wing. I'm trying to see if it will fit in my vehicle.
