This is a new StinGR 120 gear reduction power unit with a custom wound Scorpion HKIII-5035 motor capable of over 10 kW.

This 12S power system is purpose built for 35% aerobatic and 3D airplanes to 30 lbs since it will develop over 70 pounds of thrust. The motor has been rewound for a 525Kv with single strand 1.6mm copper for more torque and less heat.

Combined with a 28x13 C2E Falcon propeller, we have seen 27.21% more efficiency compared to a Q100 Hacker with a 28x12 PJN, which translates to 27.21% more flight time, more power, and more pitch speed.

It is also no less than 11 ounces lighter and is about $500 less expensive than the Hacker Q100.

At 44.4 volts, this motor will develop:

• 7235 Watts and 54 lbs of thrust but to only 145A on 12S with a 28x10 Falcon
• 8680 Watts and 65 lbs of thrust but to only 175A on 12S with a 28x12 Falcon
• 9223 Watts and 68 lbs of thrust but to only 185A on 12S with a 29x11 Falcon
• 9400 Watts and 70 lbs of thrust but to only 190A on 12S with a 28x13 Falcon

This is the last of the newest StinGR 120 design in stock with a 17-4 heat treated stainless steel shaft and the monster rewound Scorpion motor. Because of logistics issues due to the COVID-19, new parts for the StinGR may be delayed more than 30 days so this is the only one available until mid to late April.
