Re: 2008 Georgia IMAC

Hi Kevin,
Glad to hear that you are still pursuing a contest in Ga. The Alabama gang will be happy to help and certainly will be there. If you look at the SE contest schedule you'll see that we need a good "season opener" in the central area. Georgia used to have a contest in early April - that date still appears to be available if you can schedule it in soon. There's plenty of experienced IMAC folks in Ga that ought to get behind your contest and help make it happen!

If you'd like, I've got some Contest Director info and forms you can use.

Chris

Re: 2008 Georgia IMAC

Can yawl do me a favor and research for good dates to have this event. I will do the same and will come up with dates. I am trying to look at what all big events are going on this year. I know most of them since I plan to go to a lot of them this year.

Thanks.
I am looking at ANYTIME between April-August.

Kevin, count me in. I can help with some stuff as well. April 5th and 6th or April 12th and 13th look like good dates for a contest.

Don't think many of us would be affected by Toledo - you going? An early one would be great since south Fl. gets the big jump on us up-country guys. How about March 29-30? The first two weekends of April are available right now but may not be for long. Try to keep a couple of weeks away from any other event or contest if you can. Joe Nall is a killer for mid-May since we blow all our money there and can't travel much before or after. Other big ones are the Nats in July and Triple Tree in August. July and August have plenty of openings but man is it hot!

Bottom line is that we'll try to make it work regardless of when. Scheduling is everything when it comes to your turn-out though. Talk To Don Hamilton before deciding and he will help get you on the contest schedule.

Ill be going to Toledo and the Nall this year. The March date sounds great!!! If the March one works great I will think about having another in the fall maybe.

Tomorrow is the club meeting and I will know more about the contest and if it is on or not. I think the club is VERY interested though. We need a good Georgia IMAC!!!
