Dual glow plugs?

If you have a big bore motor, anyone ever seen or heard of a dual plug arrangement?

I did find some info on this and as you stated, it does seem to be an older school of thought.

Saito twins, some will have them.

I’ve got a saito 1.30 twin with dual plugs per cylinder. Light the front two and the aft plugs self ignite.
