No pictures, but in the rcgroups thread Ali mentioned that Gary Wright (electric flight guru that horizon inherited from tower hobbies) designed a custom-wound motor for this plane. I think it will be part of the rimfire line of motors. The plane itself can fly on 10s or 12s systems, 4000 watts give or take a few hundred, and a prop about 24”.

Edit: I hope I didn’t make all that up, I can’t seem to find the original post....

Edit again: The reference to the new motor is in the video linked by me below.

If you need help with an electrical setup, thereare literally dozens of options that will work, and pics will be out by the time the plane is on the market

I will try to get some photos of the electric one up soon. We just finished the last two samples of the Timber 110 ( We also assigned the final name of Timber 110 ) .
One of the samples is fitted out with the new Rimfire 170 ( Specially for the Timber 110). The other is with a DLE 35.

Weather looks good here for tomorrow Ali. Probably the same in your neighborhood. I'm calling for an official testing day and expect to see some video tomorrow night!

PS I really love my Rimfire 160's. Can't wait to see what Gary has come up with for this new 170.
