On the yellow black red scheme, swap it to red yellow black.

Give it a functional undercarriage with large wheels from PR Bushwheels

Those airframes have a lot of appeal. But please, I hate Ultracote black so much please use any color for trim but black.

Yup no black. Blue would be great on the white scheme

+1 on the blue trim.

I actually like the looks of black trim but it can be a nightmare to maintain and keep from creeping in hot weather. Any other color is easier to maintain.

The notion of offering this airplane as an either/or gas or electric envolves too many compromises. Offer the plane as a gasser under the Hanger 9 logo or offer it as a electric under the Eflite logo. In my opinion it should be a gasser only in the yellow and black scheme. Too bad Evolution does not offer a 40 cc twin.

Liking the idea of gas or electric choices. I prefer the white scheme, but maybe some
shade of silver in place of the black.

Spring loaded hatch/access cover over center of wing.
Scale hinges look great!

Gas all day long...
My 2 cents

I too agree with this, would be a must for me to have the option of using full ailerons or flaps. I would only be interested in the gas version.

I prefer the white scheme, and changing the black for another color would not matter to me. I do like the air foiled tail and the option of using the wing struts or not. Bush wheels and floats would also be a nice add-on option as well. The larger WS version for more area to support a larger range of gas engine options.

Thanks to Jason for posting this thread from Nall. Like nearly all of this concept. The thread was something that was not in any way planned ( No one had any idea the TXL would be at Nall until 4 days prior to us departing the office...
It is being a great help, as is all the feedback you ladies and gentlemen are providing. I really appreciate it and when I am back in the office next week ( another event to go to on the west coast first ) I will gathering all of the input together and then send the "wish list" for what will hopefully be the final variant of the Timber Xl design? Then we will await, what I hope will be the final sample? I will keep you updated as we go.
Thanks again for being part of this new idea, and for making it work!
Regards Ali
