installing the landing gear. i put the bolts in through the inside of the fuse and the lock nuts on the outside bottom of the gear. if i had done it the other way it would've been a hassle to get the lock nut on the bolt from the inside

Hey Neal can't wait to see you wring this one out. Is this a temporary replacement for the Edge? I remember seeing your dad posted something about the edge being rebuilt is that true? Hope alls going well with your dads hand recovery and all, good luck on the build thread.

Hope you don't mind but if i share some of my install pics of Josh's plane. I'll be following your thread for tips. I went over all joints in the fuse with CA. Landing gear, cuffs, wheels, and pants installed. Opened up the pipe tunnel and cove plate for the KS 1060 pipe. Drilled and mounted the DA60 with Blazing Star mount. Next will be to paint the firewall with black/gray speckle paint and fuel proof the entire pipe tunnel and fuse interior.
Hope to get more done by the weekend if time allows.

By the way, I'm not an expert, but I think they included some wheels in the kit. Not sure those foam blocks would roll very well.

Other than that, lookin great!
