No idea. Generally the price associated with a stock number is the selling price at Tower. But they do show retail prices on their website, so it is unclear.

Retail or street price, that looks to be quite a radio at quite a price point.

I agree. From what I've seen the 18SZ is easily 90% of what the 18MZ is. So even at $1,400, which is 46% of the cost of the 18MZ, it is still a deal!!. Anything less just makes it a no-brainer!!

Tell you what Hobbico. I'd be more than happy to buy a new 18SZ, if you get early production samples and do beta testing..I just need a new TX now and don't want to go a different direction with regards to brands.

MSRP does not equal MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). Many vendors set a MAP which is the lowest price an item they make can be advertised at, some even set that as the absolute floor it can be sold at by dealers.

It appears that looking at all of the screen shots that there is little practical difference between this radio and the 18MZ especially at some $1,500 less than the MZ!!!
