I have two of these now, one in my trailer and one in my truck for when I just go with a smaller plane. Used for the first time on Saturday. It was GREAT. Started up just like flipping by hand, and no risk. If you do this long enough with your fingers, it will take a finger or two or worse. If you can afford to fly giant scale, you can afford the $25 shipped to your house, but you can't afford to lose part of your hand. No brainer. My leather gloves are going back to more appropriate use pulling weeds.

I've been saying this all along....everyone should have more then one...I have several myself!

Richard I've been using the RCS for a couple of months now and absolutely find it very easy to use. Hope your surgery goes well.

I'm glad to hear you like the RCS. There are a LOT of people using them now, in 46 states and 17 foreign countries... They'r going to have to shut down some ER centers....

Getting back into Gas after flying just electric for last few yrs, Well pull the trigger on a new Warbird the TF Giant P47 and an Saito FG-60 R3 going under the Cowl.

My question to those who have used the RCS what size of the 2 that can be used for larger gas eng which one would be best for this eng? in the end I want to run 22 or 23" prop on this eng, so would the reg / original one be best or would the larger one for large gas eng be best?

I have been flying for 40+ yrs and have had my share of hand / fingers being hit by prop, almost lost the end of one of my fingers on a Webra Speed 32, anyone been flying long enough to remember that eng?

Anyway what do you guys think?

Glad to hear you have come back to the gassers!... Gotta have that internal combustion engine noise AND the SMOKE!...YA!...

For the RCS, go with the #1. That one will start the small engines and the big ones too. I use that one to start my DLE-170...works great for whatever you got...
