I misread your post I thought you said your dad was Cajun RC...LOL

How about some Cajun Advice

I am dialing in my New 33% Extra 260/BME 110 (21.5 Lbs). I was following Peter Goldsmith's trim sequence. To set the laterial balence he recomended pushing a downline at Idle and yanking the nose to level with elevator only(basically a low rate parashute). It said that if one wing consistantly drops then add weight to the opposite wing until it exits straight and level every time...

I did this and the right wing always dropped, I had some stick on lead so I added 1 oz..still dropped...added 2 oz still dropped etc etc and so on and so on I eventually had 11 oz of lead on the left wingtip. With 11oz on the left wing tip she exited perfictly every time. Perplexed I weighed both wing panels and they were within 1/4 oz of each other(without the Lead. I checked the lateral balence of the plane (without the lead) by suspending it inverted from a string tied to the tailwheel and motor shaft and she balenced laterally perfect...The insidences are 0-0-0 and the elevator deflections are matched perfectly..I am confident(lessons learned) that it is not lateral balence even though with 11oz on the left wing tip the problem stops...

Why IS MY Right wing Dropping? Anybody ever seen this before?

Phil,

I've tried to buy the Dalton back from Trent, but to with no luck! He's a good pilot and one to keep an eye on. I'll see you guys at the next contest. I'll have my 260 going very soon! Take care, and don't let anyone land wheels up!! Jim
