Are you needing more travel?

On my extras I had to file some material in the hinge pocket to allow more elevator travel.

Yes, I've had half a dozen different models from Krill and had to open up the width of the control surface hinge cut-outs to get extreme throws, just as ROFF explained.

Assuming that is the issue, take your timed doing this. I suggest the use of a hand file rather than a Dremel, so that you work slowly and don't remove too much material in one go. Also, protect the surface paint finish around where you are filing with a generous application of masking tape. It will provide some protection if the file jumps.

I'm assuming that you've got sufficiently long servo arms for the travel you are wanting to achieve?

B.
