Yeah it is pretty bling. Would suit my new computer too.........
This is my first home built computer, I just picked out a case from an online store and this is the one that showed up!!! ![]() Was a bit more..... bling than I expected. |

Mike our local electronics shop only has 5w 10Ohm or 5w 4.7Ohm ceramic wire wound resistors
Would 2 of the 5w 4.7 ohm in series do the job |

No, it must be at least 10W, 10 ohm from my experience. Anything less than 10W will not put enough of a load on the board...

I made one a few years ago with the 5 volt side. I took 3 power supplies
and using (5v) wire connected it to the ground of the next PS... Did this 2 times and got 15.3 volts... At over 30 amps.. My project drew almost 30 amps and wires got hot and there were a few sparks... but it all worked... Good info for RC guys Eddie Weeks |

Sure, Max. I figured there were some guys still using car batteries in the house to charge up...no more! You know as well as I do how easy it is to come across old computers dirt cheap now adays...they're good for something!
