No worries... the instrument panel came with the carden kit. I couldn't find anything more detailed/better so I use it.

Hey man! Yes, I've been making slow progress on the carden… finishing small jobs in preparation to start covering. I've been working to finish the tail by installing hard points/mounting screws for the stabs. I'm also gluing elevator/rudder hinges. I've coated/sanded the hatch so its essentially ready to prime and paint.

The weather has turned a little and we've flown the last 3 weekends so, naturally, things in the shop have slowed a bit. But, my goal is still to fly the pro this season so I'm pressing on!

I got the canopy glass work done. I’m using super light fiberglass cloth and EKE Kote resin. The canopy is now sanded and ready for primer/paint.

I’ll weight it before paint so everyone can see how much glassing added.

Did you use 3/4 ounce cloth or 1/2 ounce and where did you get it?

I used 1/2 oz cloth. I have no idea where I got it... I've just had a large bundle of it and pulled from it for years.

Sorry guys, nothing to report. Since January, I’ve been flying a new mini T1/kingtech 85. I’ve also finished a P47 ARF for a buddy and right now I’m redoing/recovering a custom 105 AJ Laser.

The custom laser will be done in Art’s super chipmunk scheme.

Don’t worry, I’ll get back on the Carden! Still need to build the wings and cover it.
