I need to move the engine more forward to help the CG of my plane (Yak55m). Without this sleeve, the spinner & prop would stick out too far and look odd. All full scale Yak54's and Yak55's have this spinner.

Thomas,

You are correct about the sleeve on full scale spinners, however in the rc world it is uncommon to move the motor that far forward. What you are doing makes perfect sense to me however to write that program to apply that sleeve would cost waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too much just for your back plate. I wouldn't sell enough of those to cover the cost. I hope that makes sense.

By moving the engine forward you will also pickup a substantial increase in thrust. It unshrouds the prop. It was a trick I used on the comp-arf 3.3 yaks with great success

How do you keep the retaining screws from coming loose? Lock-tite?
