Gotta say I'm kind of wondering the same thing, if we can't register what happens if we want to fly in an IMAC or pattern contest in the US. I really hope this doesn't become an issue!
Just bought my old Carden back and was looking forward to the 2016 season.

Sounds like non US citizens just register, pay fee and have fun. I'm not a lawyer so I could be wrong.

I want to know too!..
Intermediate and my A game to follow!
It would be great if the NW US guys make the effort to come up to a few of our contests...
Strong US dollar... makes it easy on you guys.
Looking forward to seeing you all in 2016...
Serious talent up and coming in Alberta...
More 40% machines being built and dedicated for IMAC than I've ever seen around here.
Its going to get interesting

From what I understand any International pilot will have to register and have the FAA registration on their aircraft to fly at contests here in the US. It is as simple as that.
I also look forward to seeing our Canadian pilots competing again and it will be great to meet and get to know some of the new pilots.

Thanks Keith, my buddy Darren Bowman and I are both planning on a few contests this year. He's new to IMAC and will fly sportsman with his AW 100cc Extra or 100CC Ultimate bipe. I bought my red Carden back from Dave Easley and will fly advanced again I guess, should be lots of fun!
Glad to hear we can register as non US citizens, that had me worried a little!

So glad to hear from you again Henry! Really looking forward to seeing everyone again this upcoming season. Also I can't wait to finish and fly my new Godfrey built by Mike V. I'm not worthy of such craftsmanship and beauty, but I will enjoy showing it off non the less.

I am glad that you ended up with that airplane Rob. It is good to see them stay in the family.
Any word on the contest dates for Mollala?

Hey guys,

I would like to try a little IMAC this year or at least fly with some of you guys that do. Would really like to learn the scale percision side of things. I live in Agassiz B.C. and fly at our local field wich dosnt have a IMAC presence at all. Is there any of you reletivley close that wouldn't mind getting together one of these future warmer days ;-). I curently fly a 91 Extra and enjoy building. Once this scratch built 1/3 glider is done i will be wanting another project ... Thinkn IMAC kit.

Thanks Tom

Here are a few pics

WOW, beautiful field there!! Glad I'm not the only one dipping their toe into IMAC this next year.

After a lot of influence from Dan, Charles, Doug, Clark, Mike Raines and more, it's time to sharpen my skills and learn to fly some straight lines...

I am not sure about Snohomish. Brian had told me last fall that it is a possibility, but I have not heard anything yet. Maybe somebody from the club can get on here and let us know.
