That "dude" is Jurgis Kairys - one of the most respected pilots in the world. Perhaps you come up with a better more intelligent reference than "dude".

Respected...shure. Out of his mind you bet...Dude.

The really cool thing ablout Jurgis is that he really is just a "cool dude". Too much fun to hang out with, share a cold beverage and shoot the S*&^ about flying. You would never know talking to him that he is one of, if not the best aerobatic pilot walking the face of the earth. He is very down to earth and is just happy to be able to share his love of acro with anybody interested.
He would be the first guy to say, "hey, just call me dude" ....but he would say it in a heavy Russian accent, then crush your head with one hand if he wanted to!!
He's my number one aerobatic hero, and friend.

Svetlana and Jurgis put on a hoot of a show in New Zealand together earlier this year. They do a very good interveiw with them both in the DVD and yes mate, he comes across as real down to earth guy but a funny bugger at the same time.

As for his flying I would have to say if he cant do it then it cant or has not been done. I have some great video of him doing harriers, hovers, torque rolls all in the full scale SU26 he calls his office.

I hope to get to see hm fly in person some day.
