Hey Tony.... I fully understand..... as mentioned above, these are not regular zip ties.....

These have a curved base and are specifically made for fuel/vacuum hoses.
Last night, I installed the new JMP UAT into the same spot that the old one was and used new curved zip ties to secure the fuel hoses.

I still prefer safety wire on all fuel connections personally.

The Hawker Hunter is my most favorite Scale jet.... So I'm really looking forward to seeing it fly.

I spoke with Archie and he advised me that there are 20 pilots up to now coming in for the event. He said that there is a high possibility that there will be more in the EDF class who have not registered.

I also spoke with Rod Snyder and he said that the airport manager of Johnson City airport is looking forward to hosting the function and there will be hangar space to leave jets overnight if needed. I know that several friends who are marginally interested in jets are attending the event..... Maybe the "sniff" and excitement of flying jets will be the spark that's needed!! THAT is what happened to me!

Everyone headed to the F3S event... please have a good time! I had every intention of making it but my new baby has decided he will make his appearance in the next few days.

However my E-Flite F-16 along with my IX-12 and some batteries will be there for whoever wants to fly the EDF class...

thank you very much... this is my 3rd and final of the offspring. we have 2 girls and the wife really wanted a boy so as soon as we found out it was in fact a boy, i got clipped. i am fortunate so far that the girls are actually quite into the airplanes and love going for rides in my full scale and generally enjoy being at the flying field.

If I wasn't 'out here' I'd be there too.. I'm really hoping F3S gains momentum!

Doug.... I was just advised by Archie Stafford (NSRCA President) and Matt Balazs, that the AMA has officially recognized the F3S as a competition event. This present NATS is recognized as the Jet NATS (by the AMA), and not just a name. I think the event will be recognized as 410.

So, to answer your question, it is already on the right footing and with the FAI behind the the F3S class, you will definitely see, not only the interest increased in F3S, but also in the EDF class & Scale class too.

That is awesome! Hoping mine show the same affection towards aviation!

Exciting to hear these new classes getting some momentum. The EDF class really opens up a world of options.

A Tri-Pacer! Cool, don't see those very often anymore. When I was a kid, I had an Uncle who had one and I got lots of rides in the airplane.

Viva the milk stool!!!!
