How much have you spent ever since you started RC?
I don't know which category of the forum should I put this in so I put it here. " How much have you spent ever since you started RC?" That's the question my son asked me. I don't know, never thought about it. " Not tooooo... much." That's my answer. Looking at all the stuff in the basement, ...and garage, ....and closet..., oh, and the trailer on the driveway, ....no, I don't have a trailer. Probably over 50K in the past 22 years. How about you guys? I am really really curious.

Easy answer for me
Well, that is easy for me to answer: I started RC last year. 1 car, 1 truck, 1 trainer plane, 1 giant plane now a mid-sized 55" wingspan plane. Total so far $1800. I live in a place where everyone around me has RC planes and cars, so I have a lot of help. it sure is cheaper than the other hobby I have.

Mine is a 1974, Elvis' Pantera is in California at the Peterson museum. As for a long list of famous owners, my car is not one of them. But my Pantera project has taken 19 years to finish. Lots of fun to drive and yes grosbeak Tim Horton did die in one they have a bad habit of swapping ends in a high speed corner if you don't know how to drive a rear (mid) engine car.
