EFlite Radian XL

Recieved my new Radian XL yesterday! Earlier than expected. It is a nice looking glider. However there is one major area on the tail boom that needs addressed before you fly it in any aggressive or stressful rudder application!
They have integrated a lower vertical stiffener in the bottom, but none for horizontal support. There is a slot on the right side about 6" from the rear, if you flex the boom it will widen the gap and move side to side more than I am comfortable with. MY FIX: I had an old Radian wing and removed about 8" of the stiffener. A 1/4" piece of flat carbon or rod would work. I cut a slot with my razor saw for it to go in. After trial fitting and sanding I put it in place using thick foam safe CA. After letting it cure I went back over it with thin CA. Now I have a nice non flexing boom. I sent this to Horizon so we will see what they say.
Thanks for reading, if any questions, please ask!
