Active freewheeling is a great start to avoid fire, but it doesn't rule out occasional quality flaws.

I need to know the height of the rudder from the ground to the top of the rudder of course with the tail wheel on.


I will probably have to build a rack in my short pickup bed to carry it with the truck tailgate down but I have an ARF short top on the bed. So if the rudder height is greater that 24" I will have to put the little extra in my trailer!!

My truck is a 2010 F150 with the 5.5' bed! It's a great truck but I really would have preferred the longer bed! In your experience will the little Extra fit in the bed at 66"?

No, probably not, haven't measured that but wanna say it's 70 plus. Can measure if you want

No, that's okay I'll find out soon enough!!

You'd be surprised what you can do. The fuse is 76" from spinner to tail. Try putting it in the bed diagonally. I fit mine in a Toyota Avalon.

So point is maybe get a big SUV that can haul a trailer if needed, but can still fit your big ones inside, although mine isn't meant for towing with it's little engine.

Would it hurt to attach the landing gear to the top of the car somehow and carry it that way? just a thought since they fly through the air anyway.

You just have to be careful with weather and tape the control surfaces, also debris may hit and damage it.
