Although it's clear they are flying in a cross wind,, Looks like landing left to right was a better way to go based on the way the wind sock is cheating that direction.

Looks like landings were proving tricky that day. Glad to see there was none of the notorious tipstall that has caused several models' demise that I have seen over the years. Those models are usually a heap of balsa afterwards.
