Unfortunately not, been side tracked with work and wrapping up some of my other builds. I told myself to not start this one until I have completed the others...

I will have some time on my hands shortly, so hopefully I will get going on it....

You maiden yours yet?

Glad you like it
A Reno-Racer deserves a serious race-engine.

Let me know if you need something !

servo throws elevator throw aileron throw

In setting up this airplane, what is consensus on the throws for the elevators and ailerons?

The manual for the P-51 (not the racer) states the following:

Aileron = 1/2" up and down

Elevator = 3/4" up and 1/2" down

Flaps = 15 degrees for take off
and 45 degrees for landing

thank you Bill
Sending you text soon.

this is what I have come up with:

Aileron chord is 2” at tip from LE to TE

Aileron = 1/2" up and down = 14 degrees

Elevator =

Elevator is 4.5” from LE to TE at the root

3/4" up = 9.46 degrees

1/2" down = 6.3 degrees
