Hey guys, i got notification that my planes plus 27% extra is going to be here on wendsday. I will be running hitec 5645 mgs and one 5745 mg. Only problem is i dont have an engine. I found a brison 3.2 for 400 and it weighs less than a da however i dont know how the power compare. Anyone have any insight that would help or should i stick with a da,bme,3w,zdz 50?!?! by the way i will do a full build thread if you buys can help me.

i have never seen a Brison run(i dont think) but from what i gather thay have a noticeable difference in power(prop size ending with 22X8 on a 52.5cc engin). A DA50R will have nuts power and not be to heavy. so I think it would be ok, but I would look for a deal on a ZDZ/DA/3W.

oh ya heres a difference in the weight..
DA50=2.94 lbs (3.13 lbs with stand-off mounts)
brison 3.2=3.25
ZDZ 50=3.37 lb

Brison engines are very good. They are a little heavier than a DA and down a very small bit on power. Your PP extra is a light plane, and the Brison would surely give it unlimited power. Brison engines are very reliable, and you wont have to worry about sendiing it in all the time like some of the companies. Good luck!

thank you for the replys and the weight difference are minamal between da and brison and its lighter than the zdz. it has like 28 lb of thrust and for the price its not bad....400

I have a Brison 3.2 on a Dave Patrick extra 330L it is a heavier plane and it is a rocket ship.
