Should I balance the prop before or after drilling it?

Hello,
Recently I have searched some videos about how to balance a prop. They did not mention balancing before or after drilling the prop and all the props they used were not drilled. My thought is balancing after drilling because that's how the prop is installed on the engine. Is that correct? Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.

After drilling. Also after painting the tips if you intend to do that.

Don't forget to balance your spinner as well. There are some super bad ones out there!

You can use the same balancer you use for a prop if your spinner has a center bolt hole. DuBro sells longer shafts for the purpose. I have never balanced a carbon fiber spinner that didn't have a hole. They are so light weight though I doubt their balance would be as critical as an aluminum one. Some cheap aluminum spinners have horrible balance out of the package. TruTurn are quite good but not always perfect.
