Evolution 7-77 ignition

Just bought the 7-77 radial and would like to convert it to gas. Any recommendations that arenít $5-600?

Just curious what plane is it for... we run the Saito FG90 radial with awesome results and sound.. have them on a couple Hangar 9 Corsairs

I’m putting it on the Phoenix 60cc Waco with no cowl. 3 cylinders would look funny.

CH Ignitions is $600-$650. Rediculously high. Half the cost of the engine.

When you consider that there are basically 7 ignition systems in that module, perhaps the price isn't so ridiculous.


The alternative would be to fabricate a distributor and then how expensive would it be?
