Hi all, in this thread I will show my new project. It is 1/5 scale Bf-109G. The first one came from my dad´s plans and molds at the end of 90´s. She was designed like a semi scale large combat airplane. Two years ago we decided to make it more scale and the Friedrich convert to Gustav version.
First models flew with foamy core wings and pneumatic retracts. The new kit will come with the wing plans or foamy core and will get electric retracts. For the next year we would like to prepare the fibreglass sheeting. Now try to submit dead with the wheel and retracts supplier.
Well, what the short kit includes:
Fibreglass fuselage and cowl
Balanced spinner with FG cone and aluminium back-plate
FG air scoop
FG wheel bay bulges
A bar of clear vinyl for canopy glassing
Resin dummy exhaust stacks and MG barrels
Resin gunsight- Revi 16B (G6) and Revi C/12
Tail plans-elevator+ stab and rudder
Wing plans for wood wings
Details of wing flaps with the radiators
Undercarriage mounting plans

What will come: dummy drop tank and bomb, scale cockpit and maybe gunpods and pilot

Some of you may noticed the 3D designs of the cockpit´s parts before. For sure they are here once more.

There are still some questions about the wingspan. I expeceted, that it would be clear when I mention that is 1/5 scale (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Bf_109). Well,  our kit is 1/5 scale, it means, that wingspan of the model is 1985mm (78,15in)

I would like to provide this kit with retracts, oleo legs and scale wheels. I asked 3 retracts producers if they would like to cooperate, we will see. From one I use to take oleo legs for Spitfire.

I am getting back to Bf-109. Spitfire cockpit is almost done same as masters for P51 cockpit. Then will be time for Bf-109G cockpit. Yesterday I revised the Revi 16B gunsight design. In the picture is the first one (not finished).

Here are the first finished gunsights. 1/4 and 1/5 scale. Going to work on instrument panel masters.

Now you can choose Mauser MG17 barrels if you prefer "G4" version. I did new design of those MGs. Same ase two options for gunsights, now have two options for machine gun barrels. MG131 and MG17.

Cowl latches are done. With those details will look cowl more authentic.
