If I understand this correctly, I can plug my Hitec Modules into the X10S radio and therefore continue to use my Optima receivers ?

Has anyone had any similar experiences switching as I have indicated ?
There is a converter available for Frsky JR module to Futaba style module, after which you can use your existing futaba style module.
I am in office now.... I will try and search online... else I can send you details once I reach home...

Any one else flying with this? Maybe not the right place to ask but.....

It works very good, the tach is dead on as well as the temps. But wondering what reading others are getting for their engine temps, I am getting around 212f with a EME 60cc.

I recently received mine in the mail for use with my DA60 and Horus X10S. Unfortunately, I am traveling a lot and won't get to install and use it for a while. (frowny face)

Rick,

Those are the snizznit.. I like the 2 temp sensors, I monitor my cylinders individually. And the RPM's are dead on, no delay, it's really cool.

Just took delivery of my x10s and X8R receiver. Just looking around the menus and I have to say I am very impressed.

But of course I have some noob questions.

How do I set dual rates and expo ?

Not sure what the terms weight and offset indicate.

On expo.......do + numbers increase or decrease the sensitivity ?

Thanks and hope you don't mind questions that probably seem elementary to all of you.

OK never mind the first questions. I figured them out for myself.

Where can I buy the SD card for the radio ? Is this something I can find at Best Buy ?

Any SD card from bestbuy would work, yes. 16 gig is way more than enough.

Thanks for responding Joe, I very much appreciate it. Yet another noob question.

How to assign a switch to a channel ? I am trying to assign my RCEXL optic kill to switch SH.

Are you using opentx or FROS? Because it's been a long time since I've used FROS. If you go to RCGroups thers an FROS thread there that'll help you.

In OpenTx, you simply go to Mix, select your channel (any channel),then scroll to the function, click and move the switch you want to use.

It will remember and you're done.

APS PowerFuel RX Pump

Greetings from Sunny Jamaica,

Hoping experienced Taranis users here can assist me with resolving what I feel is a simple issue but for the life of me I’m struggling to figure out.

I’m trying to set up my Taranis X9D to operate an APS PowerFuel RX pump.

The signal input to the pump is from Chanel 8 on the X8R receiver. Source for channel 8 is Throttle and I have a curve set up where at idle(-100) the output to the pump is 6 at midpoint(0) the output is 17 and at max(100) it’s 40.

On the Taranis screen monitor I can see the channel operating as programmed. However, the pump isn’t running.

Any one has experience with this specific set up? I would be grateful for guidance.

Thanks in advance.

Issue resolved.

It would appear there is a need to maintain a minimum output range. After a number of attempts the first of which started with maximum out put(-100, 0, 100), I settled on the minimum that would allow operation, -80, 0, 80.
