Why ? The eme has more hp and have never ever had a problem. You just spend more money and believe you are getting something better?
The eme are great engines and have personally never had the slightest problem.
Go ahead buy a DA
Pay more money and get less hp.

Yes yes I know it's not about hp. But honestly eme is a solid motor. Love mine and wouldn't change it for any. No point, not going to get any better performance from more $ .

To some people, CS is well worth the extra money for a good HQ engine.

Honestly, my friends DA 120 out performs my EME 120. Yes, we both are tuned up. I tried the EME on a whim, and so far, it is a really good running engine. If mine ever decides to self destruct, I have the replacement engine at home waiting to be installed. Good ole 3W 106. Just need a set of headers for the pipes I'm running.

My EME is coming up on about the 5 gallon mark. Not 100% sure, as I dont keep track of fuel consumption. I feed 4 engines from the same fuel container.

So how is the EME120 since the last postings? I am thinking of getting one....same oil mix as all my other petrol engines, that's a plus!

Does the EME 120 mount in the same bolt pattern as a DA100? Muffler exits the same?

EME 120cc

I will not spend an additional $600.00 plus just to say I own a DA 120. I agree that DA makes a great engine but is it really over $600.00 that much better. I think not. The EME 120 has the same carb, comes with two mufflers, spark plugs, stand offs, well everything you need to get it in a plane and punch holes in the clouds. One other item, why is DA the only engine company that hasn't changed their ignition module for increased power. Theirs requires a regulator when most others don't. Not bashing DA, DA is a fine engine company and they probably ask more money for their product because they can. The recent government contract they landed is probably the main reason they mark up their products because they simply don't depend on this side of the market place.

If guys could keep this type of topic civil this might be a good topic for another thread since this is the EME 120 review thread.
