Are there any IMAC events in South Carolina or west Georgia? I am an IMAC noob,never been to a competition, but i want to start. Parents are not too inclined to drive a long way to a toy plane competition lol so i need something close. Anything near SC or western GA?

Camden has a contest every year, but it is not on the schedule yet. One other contest is in the works for SC, but no date yet. Keep an eye out at www.mini-iac.com for contest dates. i sure would like to see an event at Triple Tree too.

And me too for tripple tree. I will be going to the youth masters but more is better

Would it be OK for me, as a total IMAC newbie, to go to the camden event and compete in basic?

YES YES YES, please come as a newbie. I promise you will meet the most helpful group of pilots you could imagine.

We do have an upcoming event here in North Carolina too. It is April 28th-29th in Lexington.

I’ll be at youth masters too. That is a great place to fly.

Ill see abou lexington, but I doubt I can go. And ok ill mark camden on my calender when the date is announced. What time of year is it usually?

Last year it was September 18th

sadly I have been told that Camden will not be happening this year... but there are two different contests in the works in SC... still working on dates....

I'll be at the YM too... a great event.....

That's a shame to hear. Well ill be on the lookout for those other two dates. Hopefully they will be in the summer.
