What motor/esc setup?

I'm new to the electric arena and am in need of some help with a setup for a plane. I have a small Model Tech Magic arf that I am wanting to convert to electric. What motor and esc would be a good combo for this plane? I want something with more than enough power to fly 3d. Wingspan is 52" and weighs about 3.5 lbs. Thank you in advance.

If you use a 120a esc on a motor that tells you to use a 90a what can that hurt? same as a 60a on a 40a motor. will this blow your motor. i have a 45a ,can i use it on a 40a motor? skyrider.

As long as your esc is larger than your motor you are good to go. Just don't try it the other way around.
