My wife is not impressed by how much I have spent on "those foam plane things" lately so it will be no dice on the VPP.

Air brakes are the key guys... Look in the big events gallery, under 2006 ETOC. Check out some of the planes, like this one... Slows 'em waaay down...

That, and very light airplanes/low wingloadings..... Lighter flies better, and lighter flies slower.
