RC Airplane Stands

RC Airplane Stands was a company that made these stands a few years ago. I think they may have went out of business I sent them an email about a year ago and have not heard anything from them. I am looking to buy one of these if anyone has one to sell. I know that shipping may be the killer but if it could be disassembled and boxed up the cost to ship could be reduced. Only the stand that's pictured as I already have other stands Does'nt matter if it has wheels or not Thanks

Try to contact them again. They were at the Perry Swap meet this year.

"No new orders until September 2018" looks "out of business" to me.

I have tried to contact them too, I have one stand but could use a second, great stand.

I did find

This is in Australia, but the shipping by Sea is about $140. for the field stand I have ordered their Benchtop Support HD stand, (just ordered this week to no review yet), Teddy was great to work with

Checked on 'Fazebook' and the Aussie version from Prophead Products is really quite remarkable and more 'user friendly' for all models, especially big ones......but the freight is a killer. Sure would be great if they'd license someone in the States to make / sell them

Freight for the big version is about $140 I believe (send them an email and they will tell you), remember that website is in AUS dollars, ,which are not US, and that is for Sea (about 30 days)

I just spent $75 to have a 69" plane shipped from 1000 miles away, a pattern plane cost about $175 to ship,,I don't think the freight is too bad when you think about it coming from Australia

prophead products

Hi my name is teddy from prophead products Australia...l know postage can be a pain but if consider a Prophead Products Field Stand HD is in the 15kg class {33 lbs] is quite sizable,is coming half way around the world 13,000kms {8,000 miles } at a cost of AUS$140 [$95 us ] l think is very reasonable...would you want to row the boat there for $95 bucks...have a look at our site www.prophead.com.au and find us on fazebook "prophead " and you may discover a system that will solve a lot of your problems at the flying field and become a great asset for a very long time ...thanks for your interest ...teddy

Yep the prophead stands appears to be a nice investment .In this hobby some of the finer things you want you may have to sacrifice a few small things to acquire that Item. Maybe just 2 trips of not going to the steakhouse would cover the shipping and you may be also a little leaner and healthier too Thanks to all who replied. I may have a Prophead stand on a boat at Months end
