Sam, i cant remeber what size i bought but do remeber buying all three sizes.... I just searched through all of my threads here( cant believe it was 6 years ago) and cant find the length. I would have to take my cowl and prop of for a measurement.
If i lost it tomorrow I would for sure do cans again.. I like sleepers..

Thanks Kork. When I get to that stage I’ll take some measurements. I appreciate all that you and the other builders have shared on this build.

It sure does. Do you think I should go with rigid or flex type headers?
Also, how is your new project coming along? Have you been able to re-collect all the parts for this one?
Thanks

I’m wondering if anyone is using a carbon fiber wing tube instead of the aluminum one. I would think it could save a decent amount of weight.

Where did you get it, and did it come with a sleeve?

I had a extra CF tube from one of my old Dalton's, I carefully measured its OD with a micrometer (there are slight difference between 1,5" tubes) and Tom from TNT sent a matching sleeve.

Iíve been busy with family emergency stuff the last few days but this morning had some time. I got all the ribs and N-1 sub ribs in. Then I found some N-2 ribs in the box. Best I can tell is that they have a relief cut on the bottom for jury and main strut mounting plates. The epoxy has long since hardened so if I need to make a relief cut I can use a hand saw.

I mixed up a big batch of 30 minute epoxy and brushed it on both sides of the spars and around the wing tubes.
