26 cc 3d airframes

hey there yall! im new to FG, (but not RCG) and im looking to move up in size class to my first gasser! im planning on getting one of the 26CC gassers that hobbycity offers (because im a teenager with not a lot of money) and im looking to find a good airframe.

so i want something 3d. im not really into pattern, or scale. just performance.

im looking to only run 1 servo in each wing, 1 for rudder, and 1 for elevator. if it needs 2 servos per wing, then forget it - i cant afford it.

i have a spektrum Dx7.

i am open to any suggestions (keep in mind price though) what r some good 3d 26cc sized planes?

thanks yalL!

Personally I would go with the Extreme Flight Extra-300 78". It is the best in its size. I have there 88" and have flown alot of there planes and their quality is the best. You can't go wrong with any of their planes.

Whatever you get keep it reallllly light. 26cc motors weigh a lot more than glow motors with the same power. Maybe look into a budget 50cc. They fly a lot better and the price difference between them and 26cc is not all that much. Better to wait and get a better flying plane than a porky one that isn't fun to fly.

Actually 3DHS, Slipstream and EG have a whole pile of planes built around the 26cc - 30cc market.
Most are 68" - 73".

The performance of these planes is on par with 40%'ers.

The 68" Velox from 3DHS with a DLE-30 on it has unbelievable power.

Here's a few threads:

70"Slick 540 on a DLE 30

68" VELOX with DLE-30

Personally with the amazing flight capabilities of these planes and the cheapness of the motors and the ability to transport these planes, I think they will eventually take over the 50cc market.

I've had both of the Wildhare planes that are this size. Both are great flying planes

Just got in some nice look planes that are based around the 26cc that fits the servo setup you are looking to do. I will try and post pictures of one tomorrow.
